    Please let me know if you have any formation about this family:

    phat xuat tu Bac Lieu vao khoang nam 1980 hoac 1981 . Trong gia dinh gom co : Ba ten la Phan Nhut Ho , sanh nam 1935 . Me ten la Quach Thi Mai sanh nam 1938 . Phan Nhut Mai Anh ( ten o nha con goi la Cam Van )sanh nam 1961 . Phan Nhut Mai Linh ( ten o nha con goi la Cam Thuy ) sanh nam 1964 . Phan Nhut Mai Lan ( ten o nha con goi la Cam Hoa ) sanh nam 1966 . Tran Thi Dang sanh nam 1957 va Tran Quoc Duy sanh nam 1978 . Tong cong gia dinh co 7 nguoi di tren chuyen tau dinh menh do .

    For the last 30 years, this family had no idea what happened to these 7 members, however, now they found photo of the grave of their mother on our website.

    At least, they now know that their Mother made it to land, it would be great if they could find out more information about the rest of the family. Please spread the word.

    Carina, the grave stated the same name but different year of birth 1951 vs 1938 as in the family info)...please double check...

    thanks for your note. Yes, the family noticed that, however, they believe it's their mother's grave, her full name, nickname and place of birth are correct. They are still trying to find more information about her death, since this is the one grave we found so far out of 7 missing families members.

    Is it possible for the family members to post pictures of these 7 members of the family here? With that, a few of us might recognize the faces and possibly recollect those time 30 some years ago.

    Please help so we can help this family.

    I got to Kuku on 7/1/1981 and I recalled that someone told me about a similar story like this but since it has been a while, I am not very sure about the details and I don't want to make it more confuse for other people. But What I knew was the UNHCR chief at Kuku at that time name was Mr "George". He was a short, has a beard and kind of chubby man. His boss at that time was another UNHCR officer from either New Zealand or Australia. If you can find " Mr George", he probably be able to recall some details about what happened.

    The reason I said it like that because my sister Phuong worked for him as a translator. She helped every boat came to Kuku to describe their journey and what happened during the trip. Those information, of course was written in English was then send back to UNHCR and archived it. So if you find him or contact UNHCR, you might be able to find some info. I did ask my sister the information about MRs. Quach but she did not remember anything.

    That's all I can help at the moment
