First of all thank you very much for the work you have done in researching and documenting our shared history in Kuku, Galang, and other islands of Indonesia. While doing a Google search for Kuku and Galang, I ran across this blog article http://thaoinsaigon.blogspot.com/2009/05/carina-hoang-and-vietnamese-boat-people.html, where you shared with the blog author (Thao Nguyen) that you are looking for funding to allow you to focus more on doing research on and writing stories of boat people from Vietnam.
May I suggest donations as one source of funding? Do you accept donations and if you do, how can I donate (I think PayPal is probably the easiest way)?
I have been doing what I can in connecting and assisting Boat People within my capability. Recently, Thuc and Hung volunteered their time and effort to load photos of the graves on the website, and enhanced the forum so that we can add photos, and post messages in Vietnamese and Chinese; which I (and everyone who uses the forum) appreciate very much.
I welcome all help and support, of any kind, and from anyone. The more help I get, the more I can do in recording this part of our history (the Exodus) for our future generations as well as for us; and to assist more families to locate the graves of their loved ones in refugee camps, particularly, in Indonesia.
